Happy Holidays!

Hi has been a long time since we've last spoken. Things are just as crazy as usual in my house. My mom is busy with her museum job and I only get to see my dad on the weekends (when he isn't traveling for his job). Thump!

This year I begged my mom not to take me to see the big red man with a beard (AKA Santa). She agreed, but she failed to mention that I would have to wear a few hats for this year's holiday photos. Ugh! You know how much I hate hats!

Here are a few of the photos mom managed to take while I worked my best to take these stupid reindeer and Santa hats off!

FINALLY...I escaped the Santa hat....

....and took off straight for my box.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hi everyone...I know it has been a LONG time since I've updated you on my life. Trust is a bit crazy in my house. I'll catch you up below. But first I must share a few photos from my third birthday.

Here I am playing with my hat (those of you who know me...know how I really feel about the hats Mom makes me wear!).

Here's my cake...complete with 3 carrot candles.

Thanks Mom!

Enough with the hat....I want to eat cake!

A few more close ups.

As for the craziness in my house. Here's a brief recap of what's happened since my last update.

My Mom is finishing her job with the State of Iowa and she is also working as the new Executive Director of the Muscatine History and Industry Center. She's working both jobs on a part-time basis...or that's what she attempts. She also just finished a pictorial book of Muscatine history. Hence why I haven't had much computer time. Plus, my dad got a new position and he has to work 2.5 hours away! Mom and Dad have bought a townhome in Ankeny, Iowa. That's where Dad is going to live during the week. He will come home to see me on the weekends. I'm not sure how this is really going to work and I can tell Mom and Dad are both a bit stressed.

Anyway, I hope to have more time to update you on my life once Mom starts full-time at the museum next month.

Until next time....
